Rapunzel Device Provides Safe Escape

During an emergency such as a fire, a quick and safe escape is the key to survival. Depending on one's location during the emergency, escape may not be so easy. For instance, someone could live on the top floor of a building and there is a fire raging on the floors below them. What one needs is a guaranteed way to safely escape from danger.

Reported by Yanko Design , designer Sin Sun Ho created an invention that does just that. Introducing the Rapunzel Descending Device. Resembling the grappling gadget Batman used, the Rapunzel device is made to safely let the user descend safely to the ground below. To use it all one has to do is to insert their hand in the canister like gadget and firmly grip the handle. Inside the device is a cushioned band that comfortably yet securely grips the wrist, supporting it during the descent. This device can greatly improve one's survival rate in the event of a emergency. It allows for there to be two means of escape, the Rapunzel and the fire escape. Though it is only a concept idea, the idea is still revolutionary.
