Verizon Wireless customers are still waiting for the HTC Thunderbolt release date to be announced, but as of yet, the wireless giant is staying mum about the debut. This is causing for a lot of disgruntled customers, since it is rumored the Thunderbolt release date has been delayed multiple times.
As customers pre-order the Thunderbolt and wait for the appearance of the currently MIA smartphone, it may be helpful to check out some of the major specs for the hot device. Now, as most are aware, Verizon Wireless is in the process of rolling out their 4G LTE network which will have speeds between 5-12 Mbps download, and 2-5 Mbps upload wherever 4G is available.
HTC Thunderbolt will also have a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, and 768 MB of RAM. HTC Sense UI 2.0, and Android 2.2 OS are included, and Thunderbolt has a 4.3 inch WVGA Display which is 480 X 800 Pixels, so you shouldn’t have any issue viewing 720p HD movies or clips. The Smartphone includes the Dolby and SRS surround sound system, and a 32GB Micro SD card.
The device has Mobile Hotspot capability for a shared connection with up to 8 Wi-Fi enabled devices, Kickstand for media viewing, 720p HD video recording for all those home videos, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
With all these great specs, it's no wonder folks can't wait to get their paws on this device! Hopefully the HTC Thunderbolt release date will be announced soon, so everyone can rest at ease that their Android fix is on the horizon.
What do you think of the Thunderbolt by HTC? Do you think this phone will be "the" phone to have? Will it put all other Smartphones to shame? Check out the commercial for the device below.

I agree with you there. Even though folks are tired of waiting, its much better to wait than be stuck with another phone that isn't functioning properly.
Thanks,
J
I read something today that suggests the phone won't even come out until June, but have not looked much into it yet. I will let you know what I find out.
