Apple is going to give an iPad refund to its customers who recently purchased the first generation tablet. This is good news for people who were feeling ripped off by their recent iPad purchase when the iPad 2 will be released on March 11.
How much is the iPad refund for recent customers? It is $100 for those who are lucky enough to qualify. In order to qualify for the $100 refund to your credit card, you have to have purchased the first generation iPad within 14 days of the March 2 unveiling of the iPad 2 by Steve Jobs.
If you recently made the leap to the tablet, then check your receipt. If you bought it on February 16 or later, then you should check into getting the $100 iPad refund. Apple has now been selling its first gen models for $100 less than the previous price, which is why the reimbursement is being offered. Hopefully this will stem the tide of disgruntled Apple customers.
If you purchased your tablet online, simply call customer service to start the process. If you bought it at a brick-and-mortar store, you must take your receipt in to receive your $100 iPad refund. Does this $100 reimbursement make you feel any better about having an outdated piece of technology?
