The Motorola Droid Bionic is still very popular with Android fanatics. There were multiple rumors saying that Verizon Wireless canceled the Droid Bionic, but fans of the device remained hopeful through the rumors.
There has been no official Motorola Droid Bionic release date, but the handheld is expected out sometime this year. It seems Verizon or Motorola might have postponed the device to update some of the specs. Perhaps Verizon Wireless does not want to have the same fiasco with the Bionic as they did with the HTC Thunderbolt!
It looks like the Droid Bionic will have a PowerVR SGX 540 GPU, a 960 x 540 qHD display, and Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Of course all specs and information about the Bionic are only rumors unless confirmed by Verizon Wireless or Motorola.
Hopefully the Motorola Droid Bionic release date announcement will come soon, because it seems a considerable amount of consumers cannot wait to get their hands on this hot new device.
Are you waiting for the Droid Bionic to release? Do you think the Bionic will outshine the HTC Thunderbolt or the rumored iPhone 5?
