The Force will be with gamers as the "Star Wars: The Old Republic" collector's bundle arrives for Xbox 360 in October. The new game is currently available on pre-order and has sent video game fans into a frenzy.
The 'Star Wars' Collector's Bundle has a price of $149.95 total at websites like Amazon.com. Those who pre-order on Amazon get a special bonus offer as well. The new title by Electronic Arts will be a full role playing game in the tradition of the "Star Wars" galaxy. Jedi Knights, Wookies and Stormtroopers all seem to be represented in the early screenshots and video shots. A video game trailer is currently showing online to help create even more anxiety for those who can't wait to get their hands on it.
The new game includes some compelling features such as the ability for your character to choose a side, either the Light or Dark Side, just like the movies. You can also participate in multiplayer quests, battles and campaigns online with a "fully featured MMO." This in itself has "Star Wars" geeks everywhere excited for the new game and what possibilities may lie within the online gaming universe. Currently, the game is ranking #1 overall in PC games, as the anticipation continues.
