New Apple iPhone 5 release date rumors have surfaced, as a July 29, 2011 AT&T employee's email seems to all-but-confirm that the end of September will indeed be the official release for the product. While this is unconfirmed, it certainly gives iPhone fans something more to buzz about.
The iPhone 5 rumors have been going on for weeks and months now with fans eager to get in line and be one of the first to pick up this latest Apple smartphone. Some of the latest rumors had been suggesting a release for the new mobile device in later September. Other rumors have suggested the item won't be available until later, perhaps even in 2012.
An article at Gizmodo yesterday seems to give a clue that the iPhone 5 release date will indeed happen at the end of September. The website has an email from an AT&T employee claiming that the company would not be allowing any vacation requests to be granted to employees during the last two weeks of September. This would be due to an "event blackout" and the last time this happened in the past was when there was an iPhone release date from Apple.
Sounds like good news for those awaiting the iPhone 5 release date and bad news for AT&T employees who wanted to take that trip to Aruba in late September. Keep in mind these are still Apple iPhone 5 release date rumors. Until there's official word confirmed online from a major source, those expecting the new product shouldn't be marking off their calendars yet.
