A lot of rumors have surfaced lately about a Sprint iPhone 5 release date. News of Sprint PCS carrying the iPhone 4 hit the internet recently, and soon after iPhone fanatics began talking about the possibilities of the next Apple smartphone being provided by the wireless company.
An article at Apple Insider states that Sprint issued a company-wide memo to all employees to say "no comment" to any inquiries about the iPhone 5. Is this new tidbit of information true, or just another rumor?
It seems the more likely candidates for the new iPhone would be AT&T and Verizon Wireless, but who knows what Apple has planned for the device. Even if Sprint does not get the iPhone 5, it's doubtful many of their customers would jump ship and head over to another provider for the phone. After all, Sprint is still in business, so they must not be doing too bad.
Is this new iPhone 5 information true, or just another rumor churned out to grab the attention of eager Appleites who can hardly wait for the iPhone 5 release date? Perhaps consumers will soon know, but for now everyone will have to wait and see.
