Finally, a release date for the wildly anticipated Final Fantasy XIII-2 is available for North America—and for all territories actually. The United States release is set for January 31 of 2012, which is only a few months away. That will please many fans of the game franchise. Unfortunately, Japanese gamers will be playing the game much sooner because the game releases on December 15 of 2011 there. How excited are Final Fantasy fans sure to be with this news?
FFXIII-2 is the sequel to the popular Final Fantasy XIII that released back in 2010. Sure, that game did hold some flaws and issues, but overall reception proved positive. Plenty of gamers endeared themselves to the game right away for its story and quick battle system.
