Apple has paid tribute to Steve Jobs via their website. Visitors to apple.com will see a picture of Jobs which directs user to a different page once clicked where visitors are told "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius."
Steve jobs passed away today at 56 years old after a long battle with multiple health issues. The statement on the Apple website goes on to say, "The world has lost an amazing human being," and added, "Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve has lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor."
Steve jobs was truly the backbone of Apple and took the company to a level no other person would have likely been able to do. "Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."
Following the statement at apple.com is an email address where visitors can share their thoughts, and condolences. Rest in peace Steve Jobs. You will truly be missed.
