Almost immediately after the announcement that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs had passed away, the social networking site became unavailable. Users flocked to Twitter for information, or to post their reaction to the loss of the Apple visionary.
Users can intermittently connect to Twitter to post their thoughts and condolences for Steve Jobs, but the site is quite unstable now, so users may want to visit apple.com where they can find an email address to send in their thoughts. Of course this is not the same as posting on Twitter, but it is an available option.
Jobs passed away today after a long battle with multiple illnesses. Though everyone for the most part was aware Mr. Jobs was quite ill, the news is still shocking to his many fans and followers. He was a wonderful human being who inspired many. May he continue to be a bright, shining star to guide others who are pursuing their dreams.
Although sites report Twitter has stabilized, the site continues to have connectivity issues as Tweets continue to pour in surrounding the death of Steve Jobs.
