A month after release, Epic Games' frenetic shooter Gears of War 3 probably hasn't left your Xbox 360 yet. Already packed to the brim with replay value, Epic wants to ensure you're still playing its blood-soaked blockbuster well into the holidays with the upcoming "RAAM's Shadow" expansion pack.
According to Kotaku, "RAAM's Shadow" is a 3-hour mini-campaign that's set after Emergence Day, the cataclysmic event where enemy Locust first started appearing and, you know, killing everything. Series fanatics will be happy to know that Lt. Kim from the original Gears will be playable, as well as Tai from Gears 2 and Michael Barrick from the comic books. A new character named Alicia Valera will be introduced, adding to the roster of females that can chop dudes in half in Gears of War 3.
If this fan service isn't enough, players will finally get to control General RAAM, the hulking boss of the original game. Get ready to smash up humans like it's 2006.
The expansion will hit Xbox Live on Dec. 13 for 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $15. If you purchased the Gears of War 3 Season Pass, you'll automatically receive the content.
