The Grand Theft Auto V trailer finally hit the web Wednesday morning, and the main details of the game revealed themselves after being completely shrouded in mystery.
We now know that the game takes place in a city called "Los Santos," which is an obvious take on Los Angeles. There is also a "Vinewood" sign modeled directly after the Hollywood sign, indicating probably one of the city's regions.
The main character is a middle-aged white man who appears wealthy, and based on his voiceover narration could have that wealth at the start of the game. The narrative looks to follow him as he attempts to settle down and live a normal life, only to turn to crime - and of course we wouldn't have the game without that turn.
It looks like the folks at Rockstar have managed to create yet another fresh take on their nearly legendary series of open-world adventure games. The theme of the main character in GTA games usually centers on working from the ground up, but we may be able to work with a man with significant power looking to acquire even more.
