When it comes to shopping online, eBay is one of the go to places for shoppers. With items and discounts on many popular items, fans can grab their favorite goodies from film, television, sports. What topped eBay in 2011 though? The list of the top categories shopped in by eBay users was released today, and two of the top three may not surprise you.
According to eConsultancy, the number one shopped category went to the NFL, but the second and third top categories come straight from film and popular culture. Fans of Twilight were once again beat by Harry Potter fans though. Twilight managed to come in third, but it was only beat out by Harry Potter by half a million.
The rest of the top ten include other popular 2011 items like Glee, Charlie Sheen, and Justin Bieber. More and more people are looking towards the ease of buying online. No stores to fight your way through. No parking lots to deal with. All one needs is a computer and an Internet connection, and they can shop in the comfort of their own home.
