One Android Smartphone release anticipated for this year has continued to top the most-wanted list for gadget lovers. Though the device seems to get as much limelight as the unconfirmed iPhone 5 release, the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date has already been confirmed for 2012, and is expected sometime by the end of Summer.
A recent article shows a photo of what some say is the S3 running the Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS. "No more rendering photos, this is a real live photo of the Galaxy S3 with 720p display and 5 Row UI. Also the device appeared to be running stock Android ICS 4.0.3 without Samsung TouchWiz UI."
While many followers of this device are taking the bait, it seems unlikely this is the real deal. First of all, the screen does not match up. Additionally, the apps are all pixellated. Seems a bit odd, and would Samsung really release a smartphone with a crooked screen? Not likely.
Many of the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date rumors suggest the handset specs will feature a quad-core processor, Gorilla Glass 2 display making it super resistant to scratches, wireless charging, ceramic casing, and 4G LTE.
These all sound like great specs for the upcoming device, and Ice Cream Sandwich is likely to be the OS since a lot of the newer 2012 Android Smartphones are running on that version.
As far as the photo... it seems someone had way too much time on their hands.
