According to rumor, Apple fans may still get the tablet moment they've hoped for. New information suggest the company is still working on the smaller tablet model, and states the device could launch sometime this summer.
The new iPad Mini is likely to have a 7.85-inch screen and a 1024 x 768 display which is actually only a couple of inches smaller than the current model of the Apple tablet. Is it likely Apple will go through so much trouble to put a new iPad out only for it to be slightly smaller?
One report states two companies, Foxconn and Pegatron, are receiving orders from Apple for the device. If this report is true, consumers may soon be lining up at their local Apple store for the iPad Mini release date in 2012.
