Apple fans are seeking out information on the iPhone 5 release date. Rumors continue to clog up the Internet, but still no confirmation from Apple. In fact, Apple has not announced they are working on a 6th generation smartphone at all. Some fans simply want to know what specs and features the new handset will have, and steadily look for news on the topic.
So when is the next model of the much-loved Apple gadget going to make a big splash? Some say June, while others say October. There is even a sprinkling of rumors which point to a September Launch. However, an article at Computer World has taken things a step further by predicting specific dates for the iPhone 5 release date.
So what's the big date going to be? According to the news article, it will be on October 2nd or the 16th. Hey... it's an estimated prediction, so don't get overly excited just yet. Although a late 2012 launch date for the Apple mobile device does seem more likely than an early summer date.
