Students are on the hunt for the best GPA calculator apps for their mobile devices. Gone are the days of having to check with student services, or figure things out with a calculator! There are some great apps available for both Apple iPhone and iPad devices, as well as Android devices.
A GPA Calculator allows students to enter in all their classes, grades, and credit hours, then with a push of the button, or tap of the screen, the GPA is calculated. Apparently it's true, there really is an app for everything!
Smartphone users are always on the hunt for the next great app for their device. Whether it be a game, or tool, consumers have become hooked on their apps. From Angry Birds to Draw Something, faxing to word processing, apps seem to make life easier for the more tech savvy people.
A few of the apps available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad are GPA Calculator Free, which is compatible for devices running iOS 4.0 or later. Also, another great app is iStudiez Pro, which is also compatible for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. iStudiez Pro has a fee of $2.99 and runs on iOS 4.1 or later.
Android smartphone and tablet users should check out the GPA & Final Exam Calculator app which is free and runs on Android 1.5 or later. Another download named GPA Calculator app runs on Android 1.6 or later and is available for a fee of $0.99.
These are great calculators, and though the paid versions seem to have some extra "bells and whistles," the free versions get the job done well.
