A "Wolfenstein 3D" game is available for free online, in honor of this first-person shooter's anniversary. The game will remind many of other similar games such as "DOOM," "Duke Nukem," and the more recent titles on various video game system.
According to Baltimore Sun, the classic shooting game is hosted online for players to use for free, all to celebrate its 20 year release anniversary or birthday. The original game was made by Bethesda Softworks, who also happens to be hosting this free version. It features a rocking midi-style soundtrack and the graphics you may never realize existed if you've only grown up playing Xbox or PS3 games.
The last time a version of this title made its way to gamers was in 2009 with "Wolfenstein." Previously, there was "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" in 2001. However, most fans love the original 3D version which has given way to so many classic games of today and the recent past.
In order to use the free "Wolfenstein 3D" game online, simply head to the Bethsoft website and enter your valid birthdate. From there, gamers can take out all their stress from work and home on the first person shooter, but just make sure to leave it inside the game!
