Apple enthusiast want to know when the iPhone 5 release date will happen. Obviously no one will know until Apple confirms this information, but it hasn't deterred fans from speculating and hashing over tidbits of info to pin-point an exact date for the new iPhone launch.
An article posted today predicts various launch dates, but it seems one of the most probable is the October 5th release date rumor. However, when taking a closer look, the article mentions 2011 release dates near the end. Assuming it's a typo, because the post also mentions the release of the 4S model last year, it seems some iPhone enthusiasts are set on the iPhone 5 release date being sometime in late 2012.
Many fans were hopeful the handset would début as early as June, but this doesn't seem likely since the company just released a mobile handset last October. Then again, if there is something largely different about the upcoming model, it could be worth retiring the current 4S model for.
Do you think Apple will announce the iPhone 5 release date for October, or will the handset make a splash before then?
