The new "Diablo III" release date is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15th, with PC and Mac gamers prepping for the latest RPG. The new game comes as of midnight, and one site has given its recommendation of how to save time.
According to PC World, fans can download and install the game ahead of time. They'll need to register for a Battle.net account to do so and pay $60, but as of 8:01 AM PT, the game can be downloaded. For those unable to do those, Gamestop locations around the country are having midnight launch events in honor of this major game's release. Or buyers can opt to purchase it from Amazon and will receive their copy on the 15th, albeit not at midnight.
It's important to note computers will need to have broadband internet connection available in order to install the various patches and components of this new role-playing game. For those that have that with a Windows XP or Mac OS X 10.6.8 or higher operating system, they'll be good to go for the new game.
"Diablo 3" is the third installment in a popular role-playing game series. This latest version from Blizzard features five character classes which players can choose from to battle demons, sharpen skills, and solve puzzles. The game also features an interesting online auction feature where players can auction off items to others. So this one should keep RPG fans busy for quite a while with its brand new extensive and creative game play.
Will you be one of the first to get the new "Diablo III" once the release date and time arrives?
