More iPhone 5 release date rumors and news have surfaced, as recent claims state one US wireless carrier is interested in an iOS 6 jailbreak iPhone 5. Sounding far-fetched?

A recent article states MetroPCS would like to offer their customers 4G LTE for the unlocked handset, which is expected out by late 2012. It seems most of the devices being offered by this carrier are not as popular as those from larger carriers in the United States. That said, it doesn't seem as if Apple would be willing to give MetroPCS the ability to offer a jailbreak Apple gadget when the iPhone 5 release date finally arrives.
MetroPCS CFO Braxton Carter stated recently that while the carrier does not offer the iPhone, nor do they plan to sell the iPhone 5 directly, they would consider allowing 6th generation Apple smartphone users to use the phone on their spectrum.
Would you consider switching to MetroPCS if you could use a jailbreak version of iOS 6 with the handset once the iPhone 5 release date arrives? Or would you stick with one of the bigger name wireless providers?
