Yesterday was Facebook's IPO, and it seems that Mark Zuckerberg decided to celebrate the big event with another big event. The Facebook founder got married to Priscilla Chan on Saturday, May 19, and he announced it via the Timeline feature on his website.
Unsuspecting users who subscribe to Zuckerberg saw the surprising update to the founder's event. He added a new life event that said, "Mark Zuckerberg added a life event to May 19, 2012 on his timeline: Married Priscilla Chan. Isn't that a neat way to announce it? The post also had a photo of the groom with his beautiful bride accompanying it.
Within minutes, tens of thousands of people had "liked" the event, which isn't a surprise. Many people also left their well wishes for the Facebook founder.
While Facebook's IPO yesterday was not as great as everybody expected, it seems that the happy couple decided to get married anyway. No matter what happened with the stock, it was still a huge milestone for the company, and now its founder has added his own personal milestone.
