While Apple fans wait for confirmation about the iPhone 5 release date, Android enthusiasts in the US are wondering when the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be up for sale for them. The Galaxy has already been unveiled, but is not yet available in North American markets. Meanwhile the new iPhone continues to elude Apple fanatics.
New rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy S3 may hit US markets after the long-awaited iOS 6 Apple smartphone models. Since the previous Galaxy S2 didn't go on sale until September of last year, with some stores not seeing the handset until October, it is understandable why there is speculation of the iPhone 5 release date beating the US Galaxy S3 launch.
Both devices are expected to go on sale sometime this summer, which ranges from late June to September, but so far only one the Android option has been unveiled. Of course, everyone knows Apple keeps everything a big secret until they are ready to launch.
Do you think the iPhone 5 release date will happen before the US Samsung Galaxy S3 launch? Which smartphone would you buy? The iOS 6 option from Apple, or the Android, hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich, from Samsung?
