The New Macbook Pro release date 2012 rumors and news continue to flow in, and the latest update for the Apple gadget says Best Buy is cutting prices on earlier models of the upcoming handset $200. Previous rumors had said the retailer was shaving off $100 from existing Macbook Pro devices, so an extra hundred off definitely seems as if Best Buy knows something that average consumers are still in the dark about.
Could it be the extra price-cut is due to the upcoming WWDC next month? Are Apple retailers preparing for Apple to début something new? Could it be the Macbook Pro release date?
The Apple loving community has kept up with tidbits of information which are rumored to be specs leaks about the laptop. If these leaks are correct the new Macbook Pro 2012 will have "a pin-sharp retina display, a top of the line Nvidia graphics card and a USB 3.0 port."
Additional reports suggest the new Macbook will not have a super drive, since Apple plans to "completely overhaul the design of its Pro range of laptops."
A recent article says of the laptop design, "It's believed the space usually reserved for an optical drive will be used to house a bigger battery. The 2012 MacBook Pro is also expected to be thinner and lighter than its older siblings."
What do you think about the Macbook Pro release date for 2012 being announced at the WWDC next month? Is it a possibility, or will Apple be focusing more on iOS 6 and other technologies, and leave the larger ticket items for later in the fall?
