The upcoming 2012 Macbook Pro release date seems to already have a rival device planning to steal the lime-light. The new ASUS Zenbook Prime, which is another laptop with a wedge-like design, is said to be the laptop of all laptops for 2012.
The new Macbook Pro is expected to make its début at the WWDC next month, along with iOS 6, and a possible appearance from the iPhone 5. Unfortunately no one knows for sure what Apple plans to announce next month.
It looks like ASUS has plans to début their new Zenbook Prime laptops very soon, which operates on Windows 7. If the ASUS laptops arrive after next month, rumors say they may get complimentary upgrades to Windows 8.
Both the Macbook Pro release date and the ASUS Zenbook Prime are expected to have the Intel Ivy Bridge processor, and both models will have a similar wedge-like design.
