A new Android 5-inch LG smartphone has been unveiled, which may give Apple some stiff competition once the iPhone 5 release date arrives. The Korean manufacturer recently showcased the HD LCD screen, which has 440 pixels per inch. That is larger than both the Samsung Galaxy S3, and the rumored iPhone 5's 4-inch display.
A recent article says, "LG's brand-new LCD panel utilises Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching (AH-IPS) technology alongside a resolution of 1920x1080. Basically, you get a full HDTV experience on a 5-inch screen." That really sounds like a great display for an Android smartphone, and will likely be a favorite among users who watch a lot of streaming media on their handsets. That said, it looks this new 5-inch LG smartphone may be all the craze once it's released!
What do you think about this new Android handset? Do you think a 5-inch display is too large for a cellular phone? Are you holding out for the iPhone 5 release ate, or will you buy the new 5-inch LG smartphone once it is released? Do you have another Android handset in mind, like the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the HTC One X?
