iPhone 5 Release Date: Apple Maps App and More RAM with iOS 6 Smartphone Launch

One of the latest new iPhone 5 release date rumors says the upcoming iOS 6 Apple smartphone will have more RAM and even gives a glimpse at the new maps app for the 6th generation device. If these rumors are true, iPhone lovers are likely very happy!

A recent article says the new handheld will pack 1GB of RAM, an increase from last years' model, which had 512MB. In addition to more RAM, the 6th generation Apple smartphone may have an "ARM S5L8950X" processor, which is apparently different from the chips used in earlier models.

These latest iPhone 5 release date rumors also show a new photo "of an updated maps app" which was not developed by Google. It looks like Apple is outing the competition completely and finding their own mapping solutions to offer up to the Apple community.
