Will the iPhone 5 release date be revealed at the upcoming 2012 WWDC? A recent article mentions hopes from the Apple community that the 6th generation handset will début at the conference next month.
A recent article says "iPhone enthusiasts will be hoping to get a glimpse, or at least some information, about the next phone," during the WWDC keynote speech on June 11th. The keynote speech will likely be from Apple CEO Tim Cook, but will the new iPhone be making a surprise appearance?
As suggested in the article, Apple usually reveals their new smartphones mid-year, but a June iPhone 5 release date announcement doesn't seem likely since the 4S model didn't hit the scene until October of last year.
Perhaps Apple intends to announce the iOS 6 release date, or maybe the Macbook Pro 2012 with Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Those launches sound a little more realistic for the technology giant at this time.
Which launch are you most waiting for from Apple? Is the iPhone 5 release date of most importance to you, or would you rather see new software and laptops?
