The iPhone 5 release date continues to evade Apple fanatics, but that hasn't disheartened them enough to stop gathering tidbits of info related to the upcoming 6th generation Apple smartphone. Some of the latest gossip comes from an analyst who feels the rumors about a 4-Inch iPhone 5 are very likely to be exactly what Apple is working on.
A recent article reports that KGI analyst Mingchi Kuo says the new Apple handset "is a phone with 4-inch display with the 16:9 aspect ratio." For those who don't know, the 16:9 aspect ratio is popular with Android devices.
Many Apple enthusiasts are hoping Kuo's predictions for the iPhone 5 handset are correct. It seems consumers want a completely redesigned handset with a larger, more media and gaming friendly display.
A recent article quotes Kuo of saying, "We expect iPhone 5 to feature a 4.08-inch in-cell IPS panel screen with a display resolution of 1,136 x 640 and 500-nit brightness," adding that some consumers may have difficulty operating the mobile phone without using both hands.
What do you think about the possibility of a larger display and handset overall? Will the alleged half-inch difference make the phone clunky to some users? Are you waiting on the iPhone 5 release date?
