Tuesday Sharp unveiled their new Aquos LED TV. So what made this TV different? For starters, it is the world's largest of its kind. The TV stands 4' high and 6'8" across. With a 90" screen it is the biggest high-definition television in the world. Now that is a big TV. However, Sharp boasts that the set is less than 5" thick and weighs 141 pounds.
As CNN reports, this TV could be yours for only the small price of $10,999.99. Because an even $11,000 would just be too expensive. Still unconvinced? The press release from Sharp Electronics of America President John Herrington reads, "Imagine yourself standing at the precipice of the Grand Canyon. It's 3,000 feet straight down. The wind howls in your ears. Your heart races as you leap forward and plummet toward the bottom. Just before you plunge into the river below ... you spill the popcorn all over the living room couch." So, the real story here is, where and who is the intern that wrote that? Skip the $10,999.99 LED TV and let that guy write you a story.
