The new and eagerly awaited tactical browser MMO game, UFO Online, is currently in closed beta testing at Gamigo, a Deutsche company, but that will change on August 23 when Gamescom 2012 opens in Cologne, Germany.
One of the most anticipated titles in a long time, with highly appreciative reviews from the lucky few beta testers, it takes an old premise and gives it the live action, team player twist it deserves.

With stunning graphics, easy controls, and some innovative features, the game updates the whole "We come in peace" alien visitor scenario, as most of the world unquestionably welcomes the deceptively evil extraterrestrials with open arms.
Luckily, a small band of heavily weaponized rebels sees through the deception and opens some arms of their own.
Particularly those heavyweight, hand-held gatling guns not even the (so far) shadow lurking "Crab People" can withstand.
Why can't aliens ever play nice?
It looks like UFO Online is going to be a huge hit. Will you be playing?
