The latest GTA 5 release date rumors seem to indicate that Rockstar Games themselves leaked a potential bit of info regarding the new game's release. So when will the hot new "Grand Theft Auto V" video game be coming to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gaming platforms?
As reported by NowGamer.com, it may very well happen before the end of 2012. The website reports that the official GTA V section of Rockstar's website was updated with a possible release date. They state that underneath the game's details, "Q4 2012" was listed, indicating the game will arrive to gamers before December 31st, 2012.
However, as the reporting site also notes, the Rockstar Games website was later updated to once again say "TBA" for the game's release date. They speculate that it's possible the "OCT" which was seen on various vehicles in the "Grand Theft Auto 5" video trailer could've been an indication the game is coming out next month. Or of course it could just be driving up hype and excitement as fans discuss when this game will actually arrive.
One thing is for certain; once this game finally sees the light of day, it's going to enjoy massive sales success and likely will have lines forming outside stores so customers can get their hands on the game. It just remains to be seen if Rockstar will cash in on the holiday shopping frenzy or wait until 2013 to make their money.
