It looks like iPhone 6 release date rumors are already in full gear. There are multiple sources online about the possibility of an early 2013 launch for the popular Apple gadget. Many Appleites are in full gear searching for information about 2013 Apple products, and a new smartphone will surely be ranking high on the list.
One of the many rumors says iPhone 6 predictions have given the device a first quarter launch, even though the current model was just released a few months ago. The article mentions analyst Horace Dediu, who feels "Apple's future will indeed consist of a new generation of device every six months."
This assumption is based on the statement of former Apple CEO John Sculley.
According to Sculley, the company is "going through a very significant change now in terms of product cycles," and "now it's really introducing products twice a year."
Of course this does not specifically mean Apple will launch a new iPhone every six months. Sculley could be referring to many other Apple devices, but it has not prevented speculation over the possibility of an iPhone 6 release date in early 2013.
Would you rather Apple launch a new generation of their smartphone line every six months, or is once a year enough?

Not every or even many Apple consumers do that. When you buy an Apple product ... like any other ... you have to think a little about where it is in its evolution and whether you can make use of it as it is or not. Chasing some ideal of perfection is silly, but you can do it with any tech product or anything else.
Apple gets it's high ratings and loyalty from consumers by making products that provide value, pure and simple. If they did not they would eventually fade away ... and like lots of tech companies the might just well fade away anyway.
Producing tech is hard and the target is constantly moving. To criticize Apple because it is trying to stay ahead or keep up seems foolish to me ... the opposite of "fan boy" whatever that means, to "attack dog".
I can come up with many criticisms of Apple stuff, and have written Apple many ideas for how they can improve, but I buy quite a bit of Apple stuff because they work for me.
The first iMac I got was the first really useful computer I ever had. Anything I wanted to do I could do. I tried video editing on PCs for years, but on Macs its really easy and paths to get as complex as you want. Programming, scanning, printing, or anything else works great.
The speed of tech development is not something you can lay at Apple's doorstep, and if they could not stay up we would not even be talking about Apple.

Maybe I should not have gotten the iPhone4 and waited for the iPhone5, but I don't regret it because having that thing in my pocket and being able to use it in my daily life so often is worth it. It is a pain to have to upgrade, but I cannot let myself go nuts over the upgrades.
I got the iPhone5 because I needed the upgrades that it had. I don't see what could tempt me to upgrade again for quite a while ... but maybe I could be wrong, I'm happy with the 5. Apple has to avoid competing with and tripping over itself.
