The Apple community may have another gadget to discuss in the coming months. New iPhone 6 release date rumors claim a "less expensive" Apple smartphone is in the works, and could be available for purchase by this summer.
A recent article about iPhone 6 rumors says Apple "is currently busy preparing a cheaper iPhone model, in an effort to introduce" what the WSJ says is "a big shift in corporate strategy as its supremacy in smartphones has slipped."
Apple has reportedly been working on a less costly handset for years, but these new rumors claim a "plan is in full swing and if everything goes accordingly, a less expensive version of the Apple iPhone will become a reality later this year."
Does this mean the iPhone 6 release date will bring a cheaper Apple handset to consumers? Earlier rumors claim the technology giant could be releasing a new smartphone early this year, but so far the company has not issued any new announcements.
