The latest GTA 5 rumors could have those with a PC hoping there will be a release date for "Grand Theft Auto V" happy. Apparently, one major website could have spoiled the surprise that the game will in fact release on personal computers. However, nothing's confirmed, just yet.
The website Cinema Blend reported on January 19th, that Amazon France indicates the new GTA game "will be playable on Windows XP, Vista and 7." That snippet of information right there may not be confirmation, but it seems like they've let the cat out of the bag. In fact, Amazon France is not the first to include a reference to the GTA game being released for PC's.
Back in November, the Dutch chain Game Mania also indicated on its product information for GTA V that the game would be on the PC. However, there's been no confirmation by Rockstar Games, or any solid release date given for that particular version. The fact these early product info reveals don't come via US websites may also raise eyebrows.
The only info that continues to float around, which Rockstar gave out, is that Spring 2013 will be the official time frame for this highly-anticipated game's release. As of right now, it looks like Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 will get the game. It's unknown if a PC version will in fact drop, but if it does, expect plenty of giddy GTA fans.
Do you think GTA 5 will in fact come out for the PC? Is it a bad move if Rockstar Games doesn't bring it out along with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions?
