It appears Apple fans may have to wait longer than they'd expected for the iPhone 6 release date. Sources claim the launch of Apple's 7th generation smartphone, previously rumored to have a June unveiling, has been delayed.
An article at International Business Times says one of the main reasons for the delay could be due to "the disappearance of two key executive allies at Foxconn."
According to the source "Foxconn's exec [has been] missing in action for most of the past year" while their "second-in-command" has left the company altogether. This has possibly left Apple to work "with a new executive hired from outside the company."
Apple is pretty quiet about upcoming product launches, so no one really knows when the handset will become available. Though several rumors related to the last two iPhone releases proved true, the release date seems difficult for analysts to accurately pin down.
Spec gossip related to the next iPhone claim the smartphone will have a Retina or IGZO screen display, an A7 quad core chip processor, iOS 7, 128GB internal storage, a 13 megapixel camera, and longer battery life.
